Immediate Media Co appoints Steven Seaton to top team

Steven Seaton, Managing Director of London Specialist division at Immediate Media Co

Immediate Media Co has appointed Steven Seaton as Managing Director of its London Specialist division, the company announced today, 10 February 2012. The newly-created board-level post carries responsibility for all of Immediate Media Co’s lifestyle brands, including parenting, outdoor and Gardeners’ World magazine and website.

Seaton is currently Publishing Director at Hearst Magazines UK, responsible for Prima, Prima Baby & Pregnancy, BabyExpert.com Psychologies and NetDoctor.co.uk.

His previous roles include Publishing Director of Runner’s World, Triathlete’s World and Zest, where he worked with Magicalia, now part of Immediate Media Co, on digital platform development.

Seaton’s new role will include responsibility for the magazine and website assets of You & Your Wedding and Prima Baby & Pregnancy magazines and website, acquired by Immediate Media from Hearst Magazines UK last month (January 2012).

Announcing the appointment Tom Bureau, CEO of Immediate Media Co, said: “We are delighted that Steven is joining us at Immediate Media Co.
