Immediate Media launches Girl Talk Art one-shot
Arts and crafts is a favourite activity among 7-11 year old girls* – a hobby which Girl Talk Art, a new magazine which extends the Girl Talk magazine brand, is indulging. The one-shot magazine, on sale now priced at £2.99, is for girls who love to design, draw, paint and make things. Packed full of fun projects and easy step by step guides on how to draw, create collages, sew and personalise clothes, it also comes with a free 25-piece fashion design kit containing everything for an aspiring catwalk designer.
The free fashion design kit is bursting with gorgeous pieces to inspire girls to get creative and includes a 30-page fashion design sketch pad, clothing stencils and a selection of fabulous fabrics, sequins, bows and ribbons and 68 free stickers. Inside, the magazine shows readers how to use the gift to make a range of items and accessories, from hairclips to bag charms, how to make a cool customised t-shirt or a shoulder bag from an old hoody. Girl Talk Art also provides a thrilling insight into the fashion world with Head Designer at Paul’s Boutique talking about her job in the ‘Real Artist’ feature.
Bea Appleby, Editor of Girl Talk Art, commented: ‘We are very excited to be launching this fabulous magazine which further extends the sparkling Girl Talk brand into the creative realm. Our readers love getting involved in arts and crafts, so Girl Talk Art is the perfect medium to encourage budding young artists and fashion designers!’
